Bungees - Synthetic rubber / non rotting?

I haven't read anything on the forums about sources for synthetic rubber tubing for big game bungees.
Where do you guys get this stuff?
I'd like a nice thick 30-50' to attach to my float line for tuna/wahoo.

Pre-made these things aren't cheap!

Get in touch with Neptonics. They can hook you up. Once you make your own bungee you will understand why they cost so much.

Norprene is a trademark name for a similar product.

Polyurathane tubing is pretty cool stuff too.

Ahh, EPDM. That gives me a starting point, thanks!

That doesn't have very good stretch to it does it? if it's the same tubing i've used for vacuum lines in autowork it's kind of got a dough-ey stretch to it.

* just noticed from another source it supposedly has a 375% stretch breaking point. Guess it does have some give to it.

I've only ever used one of these heavy duty blue water bungees once. Believe it was made by riffe. Looks and felt just like it was silicon band material. very thick wall and stretchy.
