Thanks guys. Yes, this is my biggest Carbo to date. And Yes, these fish were all taken in less than 200 feet of water.
They were taken from spots that 99 percent of people would drive right over and think nothing of.
Believe me when I say that there are plenty of big fish out there within range of most everybody.

Here is one more picture of one of the stringers of fish. For comparison, the AJ is 44 pounds...

You can see by the shafts sticking out of the faces that these fish were being quite friendly/

Congrats Rich, fantastic job beating that carbo down. Life is good standing on the top of the food chain.
Jason, you so often score personal best for guest on your ride. (That AJ is still holding. ) Good captains make shooting big fish possible. I can also see the captain didn't forfeit any opportunities to kill a few. Great trip and report.
