A hero for sure. Hopefully he learns his lesson and trades that .380 for something with more stopping power.

Re: Grandpa foils robbery... concealed carry works!
That's the most awesome thing I've watched all year!
The guy reacted perfectly, IMHO. Waited 'til the crooks were looking the other way, draws, aims, fires, hits. Follows up until the threat is gone. Of course, he should have known that guns are too dangerous for anybody without a badge to use. One more thought. A lot of gun nuts are too-focused on "stopping power" in a concealed carry arm. Most crooks don't like being shot or even shot at. No doubt the ideal outcome would be for that kind of pond scum to be carried off by the coroner, but a good wounding certainly defused this situation. A .380 is not an ideal thug-stopper, but it is easy to carry, which gives it a lot better chance at being carried at all. |

Amazed the news showed it, every law abiding citizen should be able to carry a gun... every criminal does.

That was GREAT!
An armed society is a polite society.

I guarantee those guys will think abotu this if they ever try to do something like this again. It might be just enough to stop them from doing crimes.
