Coronados report
My buddy Ernesto and I dove the Coronados yesterday. Water was 68 and blue. Vis was probably 50' plus looking down but there was a haze on the surface limiting to about 15' I think it was a type of krill since the bait fish seemed to be feeding on it.
There was a ton of bait on the lee of North (Spanish and blacksmith) and nice schools of Bones swimming through. Pukey didn't seem to have the bait. Most of it was more in the lee. I saw one rat yellow and later two that were maybe 10 - 12 lbs but I couldn't get a shot off. My buddy saw one yellow. My buddy and I each took a Bonita home for sushi. Work has been super busy so it felt great to swim for 4 hours. |
