2.2 mile pier!
I was looking around google maps to see if anything interesting pops up to dive in north NJ. Found this. 40.45379,-74.052905
It looks kinda like a map error zoomed out, but here is the description: http://www.globalsecurity.org/milita...lity/earle.htm Interesting web page, since it also includes EPA enforced cleanup of several areas around that people spear at. One area was cleaned of 2 tons of small arms ammunition that contained lead. I imagine its hard to get close to the pier and maybe illegal. Anyone ever dive around there? |

The pier is in the raritan bay.... I have fished around it before you really cant get to close to it because its a navy pier so diving it would be impossible.. And the vis in the bay is usually like a foot.. Its pretty sick they have hudge navy ships there alot.. But you def cant dive or fish it.
