Neptonics Throw Flasher in Action

We stand by our throw flashers. If the fish are there, they'll bring them in, time and time again. Especially effective on Yellowtail and Wahoo. You can grab them at the link below.

Just a tip for those, if you want better distance don't throw it like the guys in the video.

Put your index finger in the mono loop and fire it that way. Like if your finger was a fishing rod and you were casting it, a flick-the-booger-off type motion.

I do it that way now after a sore shoulder.

Someone gave me this flasher in Baja. I think it was a neptonics flasher.

Re: Neptonics Throw Flasher in Action

Tanc shot a video of the flashers in action, and then shot a nice yellowtail. He even managed to retrieve the flasher after. I would have probably lost it, especially in deep water but I would have gladly sacrificed the flasher for a nice fish. Notice how the fish rush in past the flasher, slam on the brakes and turn around to go back past it.

When I first started using them I would't throw them far because I was afraid of losing them, but the video shows just how slow they sink. I always bring two if I'm out on a boat now and if I lose one, so be it. #gold

You love posting videos of Tanc. I'm sensing a little bit of a man-crush?

If you'd rather a flasher that requires less work check out our flasher float used in conjunction with your favorite flashers.
