Thanks mate. Indeed it's been a huge learning curve and one that could not of happened without some serious mentoring from fellow spearboard members. To think six months ago I was diving in a surf suit with a $100 sea hornet gun having never seen a Yellowtail or WSB before.

In short, being as inexperienced as I am while the shot was true the struggle was bringing her in. There was some serious flex on the 130 shaft and I'd not felt a fish fight that hard before. It probably took me 15 minutes to subdue but I got there in the end.

Hand in gills, straddled like a pony and a deep bloody knife to the brain. Job done, albeit a little sloppy...
