Diving off my Prowler

Spearfishing video. It's a compilation of various trips that hadn't made it into videos before.

Where do you launch out of? Have always wanted to go out boating on a cat like that - was seriously considering a Prowler. Would be more than willing to pay gas, ice, drinks, and bring lots of numbers to dive

Great video! I have a World Cat 266 I just got this past summer. Nothing beats a cat for diving IMO! Later I'll check out your other videos and maybe post a few of mine if you are interested.

We put in at the Park Blvd. bridge which is between Clearwater and John's pass. Then run out of either pass depend on where we feel like going. I'll keep you in mind when I'm having trouble filling out a boat. We try to get out a couple times a month if weather and work allows.

Looked good Byrd. I think you're due for some current content though.

LOL For sure. I actually have a ton of footage over the past few years since then, but sitting down and editing it is something that is way down on the priority list.

I'm in the Real Estate business and things have been real crazy over the past 2 years and hopefully will continue for a few more before it blows up again. All free time since last summer is being spent on remodeling the house and working on the boat.

I am due for sure!!!!

Re: Diving off my Prowler

I'll share a link to my Spearfishing videos on Youtube. Most span my admittedly short career. Hoping this year my upgraded camera will bring more color to the videos and I'll have a chance to edit better.

Re: Diving off my Prowler

I've seen some of your videos before Grey. Either here or on THT. They're good stuff. I'm also trying to get better all the time with the editing and shooting. I've found that adding music is huge and recently bought the less expensive Adobe editing software. It doesn't crash like the crappy GoPro software I had used before. So that helps a lot.

Re: Diving off my Prowler

This new GoPro clone I got has an internal software "dive" filter - will see how it works out. Otherwise I'll have to craft a red filter for it. I hate how "green" and colorless some of my videos are.

Re: Diving off my Prowler

Nice videos guys. After a busy December of diving and fishing, the crashing halt in January has been harrowing. The videos keep us motivated and looking forward to warmer water and weather.

Have you tried using editing software to tweak the green and increase saturation for color? I personally hate the red filter because it destroys all surface footage.

Not yet - maybe I have crappy editing software - any low price/free suggestions?
