Dive Video of the Treasury Class US Coast Guard Cutter, The Duane

I had a little time this weekend to try and edit some video from June last year. Here's a pretty cool video of The Duane in Key Largo. No current and great viz made for a good video and enjoyable dive. Don't forget to subscribe to my YouTube channel.

Nice video. I fish that area a few times a year typically and hooked up a big Sailfish not too far off of it Dec of 2017.

Did you shine a strong light under the bow and stern? Usually, a nice size or bigger black grouper under there. Sometimes, mutton snappers out cruising in the sand 40'-50' from the wreck. The Bibb nearby use to hold some nice blacks, mangoes and muttons. Just had to be the first morning boat out there. Before the head dive boats.

Man, I have had no luck catching sailfish down there. Tons of Dorado, but no sails. I did catch this 8 ft. 100 pounder down in Costa Rica off Quepos.

This was a head boat trip, so no fishing. I never went to the sand. But I figured some may appreciate to see the video. I have so much content over the years that I've never uploaded so as I have free time (still fighting a cold) I'm trying to get it up on the Tube.
