Got this Doe yesterday around 5:00. I have always hunted with this rifle, Its a K98 8MM that my father brought back from the war. My sons tell me that I need to get a modern rifle, but I kill just as much as they do. Hunting is OK, but I am ready for the wind to lay so that we can go for amberjack.

Those old mausers will last a lifetime if properly taken care of. I have an Arisaka type 99 from ww2. I have to hand load ammo for it because it is essentially a wildcat.
