kill knife

hope you don't mine me posting here with something other then a speargun, but I figured this is also sorta the "made" section.

This is a kill knife I made out of a section of spear rod. The cord is fed threw the flopper hole and finished at the back and threw another hole drilled into the rod.

they actually sell kill spikes. not a bad thing to use but id rather use my knife as it has more than one use.

stuck it in a vise and put a torch to the section that I wanted to bend it at.

You might want to rub some pickling paste on it and rinse off with water before taking it in salt water. It will tend to rust where it was heated if you don't.
