Re: California Dive Boats -- the legend of Radon (pictures)

I know it's not a Radon, but...
One of my partners is looking to sell his 1/3rd ownership of our boat. Looking for a committed financially stable person with boat experience to partner with me and another co-owner. Ideally someone who lives in Goleta, and has space to park the boat.

It's a 21' 1986 Bayliner Trophy. The engine is newer, and was installed by a previous owner. (I think it's a 2000 or 2002, not sure). The engine is a MerCuriser 5.0 Liter, 220 hp, 305 Cubic Inches. It only has 317 hours on it, and it runs great.

I just replaced the risers and water intake manifolds (big job $3000), the alternator, the impeller, the batteries, and had the carburetor serviced. The outdrive is a MerCruiser Alpha One, and had all of the seals replaced.

Buy in is $2,500, plus 1/3rd cost for storage and maintenance. Please call or text me if you are interested.

How about a poll to see who can guess the final bid price on this Radon...https://ventura.craigslist.org/boa/d...304956639.html

My guess is $23,000

Was eyeing that yesterday! Sweet setup. I'll say $28,000, probably under 30k?

A few downsides to that 20-

No trailer.

It only holds 40 gallons of fuel, big issue if you plan on going to the islands. A new tank install isn't cheap.

1200+ hours on a raw water cooled motor. They use it all the time, which helps, but rust will eventually win no matter how well the motor has been maintained.

For 1200+ hours engine looks almost spotless, if the pics are up to date..? Space in there for a nice hot water heater

Above 28k is my guess

CraigsList seems to have a full range of boats covered right now.

Live auction link to that Harbor Patrol boat here:
