What kind of fins do you use?

Currently I am diving USD Blades. I can't complain a bit with the durability or performance with them, especially for the price. I am thinking of switching to split fins to help reduce air consumption, as everything I read says that they are so much more efficient. The only thing that keeps me from doing it is that I hear they are not good for really hard, quick accelleration.

Any of you guys have any experience hunting with a pair?

I had originally used tradional Aqualung fins, but made the swith to splits about 10 dives ago. I have the atomic splits. I am very pleased and won't go back. The main thing you notice is that it almost feels like you don't have a fin on, yet you lose nothing in performance, and even swim faster. I can't think of any downside to them.

Currently, Tusa Imprex. Been seriously considering The Atomic splits. Like everything else, my LDS is very "proud" of them,$189

Mares Avanti. I'm interested in trying out the huge fins I've seen some of you guys using. IMO, they look ridiculous, but shit, if I can get around quicker, who cares!

I've got a pair of old Hurricanes too. I like the Quattro's better but it's good to have a decent backup

Long Carbonfiber blades (handmade)/ Sporasub foot pocket. They are the best fin for freediving. If you try carbon, you never go back to regular fins.

Oceanic V12 splits. I have bad ankles (surgery inproved) and they have made a world of difference.

Mares Avanti, old and scratched to death. Dying to try the new split fins. Anyone know where you can try before you buy?
