Re: Daily vis report

Drunk, if you "site" the music, there is nothing they can do.. Just put some txt somewhere in the vid that says the name of the track and the artist and your good as gold.

Re: Daily vis report

Hi All,

What's it looking like down around Port A, and N. Padre Island for vis? Is there any red tide, high winds, etc?

Thanks...Jeff

Re: Daily vis report

Just got back from Port A. Vis was really bad - a couple feet.

I didn't notice the red tide until farther down PINS.

Re: Daily vis report

3/24/2012 - Got back from flying on an all night Search and Rescue case 35 miles NE of Port A channel... sad ending that didnt have to be... let someone know where you are going and WHEN you should be back by.. after that cinderally hour, someone can call help for you!

Anyway... 30 miles out blue water. The rigs looked so enticing!

3/25/2012

Hit the rigs down off of PINS... water was 10-12 for the top of the water column and then 30+ below 15'. Pretty awesome, lots and lots and lots of fish with some red snapper strangely closer to the top of the water column. Big cobia everywhere.. hooked 5 on rod N reel (illegal to shoot in state waters) all over 40" but they all got off at the boat. Got tired of shooting sheepies.... took home 5.

All in all it was awesome.

3/27/2012 - Just got back from flying up at Port A. The north side of the north jetty is the best and will be taht way till the wind shifts. Great viz anyhting more than 2 miles out!

GL and happy hunting!
