Quick dive off of Homosassa, late post from 5-29
We had an opportunity to get in our first dives of the year. We ran out to some 40' reefs to do some easy dives to check out ourselves and our gear. Vis was top to bottom and 30 to 40 horizontal. Water temps were 78 top to bottom. This particular rock pile almost always holds gags and decent mangos but this time it was off the charts! I have never see so many gags aggregated in one spot. They must have got the memo that they are safe until September because they followed us around like puppies. We will certainly be back to visit them in the fall. We did manage 5 decent hogs for dinner.

Thanks for the report. In one pic, the gags are stacked up pretty good. If they are there in Sept. stacked like that. The challenge is to get your 2 gag limit with 1 shot.
