Can you use JBL shaft in Ocean Rhino?
I just ordered an Ocean Rhino and have always used the Gen 1 JBL Magnum series so I have a hand full of free shafts for my JBLs. Will these work in Ocean Rhino guns? I’ve attached a photo of the notch on my JBL shafts.

The short answer is no. You should only use the shafts manufactured specifically for Ocean Rhino Spearguns.

The shaft anti-roll feature on a JBL shaft is the flats on either side of the spear tail that match the flat walls of the sear box. On an Ocean Rhino shaft and the Sea Hornet before it the anti-roll feature is a vertical slot in the extended tail behind the shaft retention notch which goes either side of the sear lever backing projection in order to keep the shaft wishbone notches on top.

Sell the JBL shafts and use the money to buy the proper shafts.
