Ft.Pierce Dive Boat

Hello fellow divers: We have established a Diving excursion Boat based out of the Ft. Pierce City Marina. Captain Bob's Diving and Fishing excursions. We are offering no decompression excursions to the Amazone, Halsey and the artificial reefs of the sportfishing club just to name a few. SPEARFISHING IS WELCOME. Our Boat is a 33' Bertram with a heated/airconditioned salon with a 6 diver max and no less than two licensed/insured PADI Divemasters on the Boat. We are licensed/insured and a US Coast Guard inspected vessel. All crew are "In good standing" members of the US Coast Guard Consortium, which means that we are randomly drug tested and are drug free. Our excursion schedule is very flexible and built to suit a small group of divers. If you are like me and tired of driving to Jupiter and West Palm Beach for diving, please contact me and support my endeavour to establish a dive boat out of Ft.Pierce.

Please visit our website at http://fortpiercecitymarina.com/charterinfo3.html
Our Boat is the first one listed under charter info.

Thank you.
Jon Horowitz

Re: Ft.Pierce Dive Boat

Would you consider a reduced rate for freedivers? No tanks to haul and less general crap on the deck. We come in pairs, or maybe groups of three. All have FII level 2 certification. Looking mostly for reefs in 40-60ft of water with perhaps some excursions to as much as 80ft.

Yes, we would be able to reduce the rate for freedivers. It is less equipment to haul and everything else that goes along with that. We would welcome you.

I'm all for a dive charter closer to melbourne. The price of gas is going up and up. What do we need to do to get the motor turning.

Re: Ft.Pierce Dive Boat

Yes you can. Powerheading is illegal inside the designated rectangle you see on the charts. If the wreck is in it then it is off limits to commercial methods such as electric reels and PH's. Shafting is fair game though.
