Re: New Speargun suggestions
i use a mako predator pro, open muzzle with the shark fin, and a single band, i think it was like 120$ use the rest of your money to safety up either a reel, or a float and line....
i love it!! Mako has allot of good products, you can be set for 500$ and they have a ton of followers and great customer service... |

Re: New Speargun suggestions
What do you want to shoot with it and at what range? Scuba or freedive? How experienced are you?
A simple railgun like the MAKO or ROB ALLEN allen is good until you get more experienced if you aren't already. Taking big fish isn't about having the biggest baddest gun but the technique so a simple railgun is fine for most fish. Last edited by Nix; 05-07-2012 at 01:17 PM. |

Re: New Speargun suggestions
Damn, for $500 at Mako you could get a gun, wetsuit, fins, mask, snorkel, floatline and float (or reel). Or I guess you could just get a Koah.

Re: New Speargun suggestions
Got a Mako 120 a few months ago - shoots straight and powerful. KOAS and RA's a great guns too. For $500, you've got a lot of options.
