All About Pole Spears & Slings What is it about that traditional method of the early hunter/gatherers under the water? These devices are indeed interesting and effective. |

Re: Spear pole head repair
Nice shooting, You didn't trash the meat... You still got your aim down. The stronger rubber made a big difference I bet.
We will have to get wet next spring. Hang in there. Pick a good boat launch site for me.

Re: Spear pole head repair
Wow! I read this whole thread, and someone needing help with an old spear got replies and help from all over, and a great ending! That is what spearboard is all about, helping out others with spearing and gear. Bravo! Makes me feel good. I try to help out folks who need it. It is rewarding.

Re: Spear pole head repair
Yep, I worked out great. Aaron Crist and others like me do the "One of Fix it" jobs more often you know. All part of the spear-o community. It's rewarding to repair a broken item that might go to the trash heap, and it's back in business getting groceries again...
Aaron was great on sharing information so I could plan a solution.
