Corona Del Mar

I dove Little Corona today and took my gun in the water. Saw lots of legal sized fish but they didnt seem afraid of me. Too tame to shoot. Does anyone know for sure it spearfishing is allowed there? No help from the fish and game. No lifeguard on duty. First time Ive actually used the "when in doubt get out" rule.
Thanks
