One summer I saw a school of triggerfish swimming near the surface around the edge of the Dana Point kelp line in 45+ feet of water. Shot the biggest one for dinner.

Very cool stories! Just goes to show anything can happen out there.

Well my so called "uncommon" occurrance of seeing corbina in the kelp became more common today. Saw it again today, a repeat, same bed, different area- two corbs cruising 10 feet below the surface looking quite disoriented. Who knows where they were going!
