Re: Report on Moon Jellyfishes

Thanks man. Didn't go spearfishing this weekend because of the Visibility and Jellys. Sunday went out Kayaking around the whole island of Key Biscayne. Around Stiltsville the water was rough and Moderate amount of jellys.

Hopefully the water would calm down and Vis will improve.

Dania beach Friday - Jellies out from 500 yards to 1 mile. Tapered off after a mile. Reasonably thick but divable just watch your accent.

Are moon jellies racist? What's the best way to talk to them so they let you pass without a fight?

Sorry, man, I'm not ordinarily a grammar policeman, but your typo of ascent just hit my funny bone in the right spot!! Maybe my 1 hour of sleep last night had something to do with it. I'm so lame...

Report on Jellys: Was Mild . Jellys where around. But no thick clouds
(Area near Key Biscayne and Stiltsville)
Visibility (bad) was about 5 feet.

Re: Report on Moon Jellyfishes

Went shorediving today off Miami Beach at about 3:00pm, between half and 3/4 of a mile, little bit of current, viz was about 20 feet, I was quite impressed myself. A bit of the white cloud in the upper layers. 3 lobsters and a few hogs, fun fun fun! Other than some wind during the passing storm clouds, sea was extremely calm. Not that many jelly's!!!
