Nice fish, bad vis

Vis was bad, Gulf was choppy, every fish required a dive past 40'.
But, we got our limit pretty quick.

Smallest was 8, biggest was 20.

Rig. Had to stay way outside and use flashers though. They were deep.

Re: Nice fish, bad vis

Went yesterday. No reds, just mangrove. Vis was really bad in my favorite spots. Was glad to get what we got in those conditions. Didn't see much else.

Still was a good time.

we were in the small contender that pulled up to you that day. Ended up running 30 miles further south to find clean water but not many fish. long day haha

Oh well, probably would have done the same thing you did, but I had planned a short day.

Was really clear last weekend though. But, we didn't see as many mangrove. Lots of big reds everywhere.
