There's many on here that go there. If'n you don't need to be baby sat/hand held and put your money and time into helping the effort, you'll get an invite. That's all assuming you won't hold the crew liable for any F ups you make and the crew can be confident you won't hurt them by your actions.
A resume of your experience to gaining ones' potential confidence would help to alleviate any fears. By your name, I'm guessing your a medic...so that helps. Shit happens, rarely if you've a smart experienced crew, more so with newbs.

Give these guys a shout. They're both sb members and good guys, chill and have fun.

Thanks for the advice. Im a regular diver and I'm also a rescue diver with my fire department. Hand holding is far from necessary. Im always down to throw in ice and gas money too.

I assumed such. To be invited, one also has to be a good crew member, that includes helping to clean up the boat, pack it, etc... Bringing along good food/beer to be shared and being a chill character is always helpful as well. It's a team effort that everyone wants to have a good ROI (return on investment), because it is a big investment which bleeds reward if you have the right crew.
I remember one of my commercial trips in which one early bird, and experienced crew members, awoken the rest of us with the reel going off at sunrise. He dropped a sardine and hooked a big ass Cobia that chose our vessel to seek refuge under at night. In a matter of seconds there were 3 of us out on the back deck in our skivvies trying to wrestle in that big ass Cobia. They are a very reluctant prey.
