got an old avon 3.4m R.I.B
Wondered would it be possible to attach a ladder at the rear?,or how i could offset the weight of going overboard smoothly?

That's a bizarre video.
Can you be a bit more specific in your question? You can backroll off the edge of an Avon 345 with no problem. Unless you weigh 400 lbs or something, you'll be just fine. You don't need a ladder - that's the advantage of a RIB - close to the water so they are easy to get in and out of. If you struggle getting back in, just inflate your BC, pull it off and tether it to a line hanging from the boat with a clip. Then climb in and retrieve your BC.
