Yamaha 350 4-stroke

We just got in our first 350 4 stroke. It is setup on a 2400 Century center console. It is wild.

The boat has the new Yamaha power assist steering, and Yamaha's new electronic throttle. You can turn the boat lock to lock with one finger at WOT.

The motor is not much louder than the 250's, but running the bigger prop it has so much power. They are calling it 50% more thrust, than the 250! When you put it in gear it clunks like a diesel inboard.

We are able to run faster with the single 350 than twin 150s, boat is doing upper 50's.

The motor looks like a alien.

Might be a good repower to put a single 350 on the back on a 30 Scarab.

Not quite, but she's not cheap!

The compression ratio is low compared to the other motors so I think we are going to see this V8 pushing 500hp in the next 3 years.

Walking thru the docks the other day and saw this!! Those things are huge in person. For you guys that haven't seen one up close yet, the cowlings are at least 4' long and 2 1/2' wide!!! Good night!! I'd kill myself with this boat!!!!
