North Shore Oahu Shore Diving?

I'm going to be staying at Turtle Bay while working Bonzai Pipeline December 6-21 and wanted to see if there were any shore diving options nearby. I'm not looking to travel with heavy gear, so octopus would be the focus. I've heard the reef fishing is a bit dangerous because of cig. Is that true?

Re: North Shore Oahu Shore Diving?

Surf is too big, no shore dives until summer. You'll need to go S. shore if you want to dive.
