Re: Sebastian Vis/Temp?

Dove 45 off Vero last Saturday. Warm with 15-20 vis on the bottom. Could see the bottom in 45' from the boat. Hit some northern 45' spots and it was slightly cooler, but not bad.

Re: Sebastian Vis/Temp?

Found a hazy 15-20 in 90 due east this past Saturday. Mangroves were swimming on their sides and acting funny, all full of roe and milt. Warm on the bottom. Lots of sharks around including a giant hammerhead which was meh.

Re: Sebastian Vis/Temp?

We went out 8/18 out of Sebastian to the 80' north. Visibility was about 12' no bottom current and temperatures about 70 on the bottom. Didn't see a lot of good fish. We ended up catching about a dozen bugs, all good size but half of them had eggs. Couple five pounders. Also came in with about eight big fat Lion fish. Ocean was flat.

Re: Sebastian Vis/Temp?

Got out yesterday. 11-9-17. on the ride out the surface looked snotty. The first 20 feet or so had a lot of stuff floating in the water, then it cleaned up. we had about 30' of vis on the bottom and temp was 70 ish. Clean and bright. plenty of big Mangos for me to miss. We were 80' East from Sebastian, then worked our way north 1/2 mile each tank. by the third tank vis was down to around 15'. We got some bugs, Mangos,Trigger, one big Slipper, and a Grouper. Awesome day. Got to see my first Tiger shark.

Re: Sebastian Vis/Temp?

This is the video of the tiger. The video sucks a little bit because he caught me off guard and I couldn't keep my head still.
