Queens and Kings

Went off Tarpon Springs today with GR (red tide), Richard (bwanaR) and his son Hunter (dudro612) for some fast action freediving. We had flat sea's good viz and no current. We only hit a few spots for the day and the fish were thick on most spots. It was one of those days that you wish you could have all the time. It seemed like every where we went we had cobia swimming all over us among the bull sharks. A good time was had by all and hope that Richard and Hunter can make it out again with us for some more good times.

Here is the new Cobia Queen GR with a nice 60 lber. He got his new nickname since he has shot more cobia in the last three weeks then he has in the last three years.

Re: Queens and Kings

Here's what happens when you've got a angry 60 lb cobia and a angry 40 lb cobia going ape shit on the deck at the same time. Get the hell out of the way!

And still the King is Bucket One with a smoking 35 lb kingfish. He shot it off the back of a 10ft bullshark.

Re: Queens and Kings

Here's a shot with most of the catch. The smallest of the 4 cobia was 30 lbs and the grouper were up to 19 lbs. GR also shot a mutant inshore triggerfish. This thing was huge.

Nice fish guys

Wouldn't Ritchie be the Queen and GR be the King, since GR's fish is bigger?
