I recommend a shore dive with the new wifey at Santa Maria beach or Chileno beach. Scout it out and if you like what you see, go back with your gun, early or late when the tourists are gone.

If you go to santa maria, stop at costco or walmart on the way there and buy a big bag of frozen corn. Pour it into an empty water bottle and take it out into the water and feed the fish. They will swarm around you in a gigantic feeding frenzy and nibble on your skin. It's amazingly cool!
