Where to buy barrels

Hey guys,

Looking to put together a few railguns, a 90 roller, and a 120 roller. My first question is whats the real world difference between carbon and aluminum barrels? I know the carbon is obviously lighter but does it really make that big if a difference to spend the extra coin on it? Secondly, wether it be carbon or aluminum barrels, where do i buy them? Looking to put the guns together with pathos or rob allen handles, as far as roller muzzles go whats a good one?

Thanks for the replies it helps so much

Nautilus Spearfishing has some very nice carbon barrels with integrated rails for a very good price. I am very happy with the 130 barrel I got for my pathos handle. You will need to drill holes in them.

Re: Where to buy barrels

It pays to do a bit of research to make sure that the internal diameter of the components will all match up and also that the heights of the tracks on the barrel , muzzle and handle will line up. I've had issues and realised that's where the problem was. The pathos carbon barrels are really nice and if you're using a pathos handle it makes sense. I made a 110 roller with a Mannysub roller head, pathos carbon barrel and Meandros B28 handle.

Re: Where to buy barrels

Main difference is that carbon is lighter. It makes the speargun easier to carry when swimming and aiming. Nautilus barrels are great. I bought one and they are very well made.

Pete's chinese barrells look nice to, but Alibaba is a wholesale web. They won't sell by the unit.
