Neptonics reverse trigger mechanism

Hey I've been using the netonics reverse trigger mechanism I really like it it seems like a very well built trigger and his work well for me so far but I'm trying to build a small hole gun and need a shorter shaft I don't want to spend a lot of money on an expensive shaft for something I'm going to be shooting into rocks does anybody know of any other brands of shaft that will fit in this trigger mechanism

Re: Neptonics reverse trigger mechanism

Speardeals has a 32" Riffe shaft, and Jbl has a 29" for their Nor'easter gun. The Riffe is threaded and the Jbl is threaded w/ flopper.

Re: Neptonics reverse trigger mechanism

Yes. This past Christmas break I built a little 27" gun and used the reverse mech. Both of the shafts went into the mech. I should add that they were 9/32 and American cut.

Re: Neptonics reverse trigger mechanism

As far as I know, any American notched shaft should work with that mech.

I think the reverse mech will work with a euro notched shaft.

it will , work with some brands (as will all american mechs ) but not all euro shafts are cut the same ,so while some or must will work , it isnt safe to make a blanket statement that you can use a euro cut shaft in a american mech . they may also seam to lock in and work bit can fail unexpectedly later under load
