Cheap spearsjafts flopper type??

I’m looking for cheap spear shaft flapper type that will fit riffe speargun. Dan McMihan out of Florida used to tell me he could get them for $20 apiece. I’m wondering if anybody on here knows anything about that?

$20 is hella cheap!
Probably made out of re-bar!
Considering that just floppers alone are $6-12 on Ebay, it seems to me like old Danny boy may have been telling you a little white one!
But if you do find one, let us know because I just spent $220 on one with a slip-tip.
Good luck

Re: Cheap spearsjafts flopper type??

We are going back quite a few years now, but at one time I did supply Dan, in bulk, with flopper style shafts.

This was at the time while I was owning and running Florida Freedivers.
These were coated spring steel (RA / Spearmaster / KJ style). I cannot remember if they were 7mm or 7.5 mm Dia.

I cannot remember the exact deal I had given Dan but it was in bulk and at a very good price. He in turn was promoting the product.

Perhaps this is what Dan was referring too?

I doubt, very strongly, that this deal can be repeated. I no longer have any affiliation with Florida Freedivers.

Be safe out there,
Mike.

I by shafts from these guys frequently. I think all are euro notches but they're great for certain applications. Also the threads on threaded shafts don't work with USA slip tips, you need to get a thread converter.
