Re: Diver Lost at Breezy Point

I met eugene at camp hero. We were both going for a shore dive. He seemed like a real nice guy. We talked a few times after that. His enthusiasm was contagious. This is just so sad. I won't be able to make the memorial event, but I have a couple of nice things for the raffle. If anyone from the east end is heading up and is willing to carry a couple of items, pls send me n email

This could be any of us on any given day.
Feel free to call me 401- 253 - 8015, or PM me here, or email wksheets@gmail.com if you have other arrangements.

FYI Most insurance policies have diving exclusions to avoid payment on such events.

I suspect Eugene's wife will need all the help she can get.

RIP. This is extremely unfortunate. Please let me know where donations can be sent.

RIP Eugene. Wish we could have dove together... Seems you were quite the enthusiast for the sport and would have taught me a lot. Keep us safe. Condolences to the family and friends.

I don't know how accurate the findings are about this terrible accident from the following article... but it mentions that Eugene fell victim to shallow water blackout.

If you don't have a paypal account, you can send the check to me. I'll make a paypal donation to the family immediately based on your word, without waiting for the check to arrive or be cashed. I'll assign you the raffle tickets based on the amount you'll commit.

Fore more details about the fund raising, the paypal account open by Eugene's family and the raffle we're hosting for him:

The SWB is only the opinion of a fellow diver. Statistically it is the most probable cause, but I don't think it is the conclusion of the investigation

Re: Diver Lost at Breezy Point

Just to clarify it said "could have". They would need to do an autopsy and perhaps review the dive log to get a better idea.
