Rental house Ft Pierce?

I have all but accepted a job in fort pierce and I am looking for somewhere to live. I don’t know the area that well so I wanted to ask on here for recommendations (especially where not to live) or leads if anyone knows of an opening. I would like to be within 20-30 min of harbor branch, my budget is $1,200 a month five or take, and I am looking for a 2 bedroom (or 1 br with a den area).

Thanks for the help and I look forward to meeting and diving with a lot of y’all soon.

Try sending a PM to Mike who started this Great White Shark Database thread:

Mike is a scientist at Harbor Branch in Ft. Pierce and might be able to point you in the right direction.

Good luck, Tony

Avoid the alphabet avenues.
Lake Park off indrio road might work.

Thanks Tony for the reference. I’ll check with him on places to go.

Good to know on the alphabet roads. I’ve looked some at lake park area houses online and that area is definitely an option.

Lakewood Park is decent depending on which part and you should be able to find something in your budget. Try Tubeck realty who specializes in the area, Dave is a great guy and has his ear to the ground with rentals in north FP. For sure avoid the lettered streets.
