Re: Battle wagon for short money
decent deal there.. is that an optimax? wonder what he means by "re-done". stringers/transom always need replacement on those makos

Re: Battle wagon for short money
I'm looking for a boat now also myself. Thinking something around 20ft with a budget of about 5k. Let me know if you come across anything.
I know it's not ideal but you can get a really nice wave runner and hook that bitch to be a diving machine. I saw some guys diving near us off block at the Hellenic. So that means they had to launch from orient point..Not bad. It looked great. I just may go that route since I'm tight on $ I'm on classic mako. I wish I had a place to resto a boat but I live in a apt. Be weary of the older ones. They tend to get soft decks, wet trandsome, need new stringers and foam. Good thread!

I don't know much about Carver, but this looks like a sexy rig for the dough.
A little big for drifting reefs though. http://newhaven.craigslist.org/boa/3727405948.html |

Re: Battle wagon for short money
Major league battlewagon. 21-large but I'd say hard to beat.
Fuel burn prob compares to similar hp OB Reg. I'd think a bit tippy on a drift though with the 24 deg D-R, but she looks like a runner. http://www.classicmako.com/forum/top...TOPIC_ID=47505 |
