Re: Wetsuit

Just to add some personal experience here. I go through rapid and drastic weight fluctuations based on what im doing at work in a given year. 70 LB + or -. so i have several suits in several sizes. A suit thats a little to tight while on land is OK. You shrink up a bit in the water and the cold. A suit that too loose is a terrible experience. Chaffing, cold, suit constantly shifting on you. It should feel like putting on a well worn leather glove. good luck with your new gear!

Re: Wetsuit

Has anyone here ordered from imersion and later received a import tax bill? I'm a little confused. Is this a common?

I wouldn't know about that. However, I am curious, what percentage of the purchase price is the import tax?

Re: Wetsuit

The duty tax was 4%. Which amounted to $20.

Re: Wetsuit

Jeff,

When I ordered my Elios wetsuit import tax was included in the final sale price. I'm not sure if that's common business practice for international orders but I asked ahead of time too. Seems to me if they know you're an international customer they should be able to calculate those taxes ahead of time so you don't get a surprise bill in the mail.
