I found a lobster hotel the other day. What is nice about it is it is shaded and the lobster poke there ant. out. There were about 15 lobster in that hole sticking there heads out and everything. No divers are going to find it either. That is what is awesome about it. hehe

Good luck

I usually dive until I get my limit, sometimes until dawn!
But we freedive for them, we don't need no stinking tanks.

Thanks, but no tanks

Got skunked on last years opener. This year is a different story, all the local bugs are nice a plump after beeing left alone for a year.
I'm betting on limits by daylight.

seems like lots of bugs out there, the sea should be calm, vis is ok, the moon is a bit of a problem but all in all things look good so I say a limit for me and 3 bugs for my 14 year old. It won't be the same though as my 27 Year old won't be diving w/ us this year ;( due to a bad back...

speaking of 5-6 i found a nice 5 or 7 pound lobster at my fav spot i was just gettin back into the groove of grabbin them and getting only legal ones.

Went out in Laguna and got limit in 20 mins, next day went down to Coronado and got limit again in 30 mins. Had a few throw backs ,but then we just went and got a few more to compensate. Great opener this year. Hope you all had a good one as well.
Happy buggin' - Nate White
