Re: Yamaha Salt water series II fuel injected 2001 model Ceased?

Gene and Jetro, thanks for the ideas on alternative motors, these posts got me tuned in to where I needed to be looking for a replacement motor, ended up picking up a pretty clean ox66 basically same motor we had and where able to use all the same controls, got it mounted and tested it out saturday on the river and thankfully the big red ugly is now back on the water ready for action! Still in the market for a nice 4 stroke 250 hp or larger to upgrade to but for now my emediate need to kill some fish should be satisfied! Thanks a ton guys for all the help and advice!

that engine would be a easy fix/ rebuild . the salt water might have pitted your bearing but as long as it didnt bend a rod its cheap and a great engine to rebuild. how much?
