Re: A nurse shark attack!
Inoffensive my ass. That was nothing. I've had big ones swim underneath while I'm swimming a couple feet above the sand and grab my fish off my stringer. Another one was following it and got on fish too after they snapped my stringer off my weight belt. I poked the hell out of them with no effect. They went at my fish, kicking up sand into a cloud. At that point I left the cloud to return to a couple grouper heads and my hog with a big bite out of it. I went on down the reef only to have them return for seconds. I jabbed them both HARD in the snout to which they darted off and didn't bother me anymore.
I now treat them like jewfish. If I'm hunting a reef, I'll poke the hell out of them before shooting anything. That video was puzzling. Why did the diver just let that fish dangle down there in front of the shark? Why didn't they pull the fish up out of the way?

Re: A nurse shark attack!
Ah, I see. That's some beautiful bottom with clear water that apparently has some nice fish on it too. Where is that?

Amazing waters, and sorry that your line tangled. How did you manage to bring a speargun into Cuba? I read somewhere it was illegal, but I never checked this info...
