neptonics trigger repair

Does anyone know if you can get replacement parts for neptonics triggers. I have a trigger that was in a mid handle so i cut the trigger arm down. I now want to use it in a rear handle gun so want to replace just the trigger arm.

Can this be done??

Yes Karl, it can be done. It may require you sending it back to Josh (who I believe is in Aussie Land right now) but he will surely help you out. You may even be able to do it yourself.

Re: neptonics trigger repair

I had the same problem. A gun that some guys put together for me ended up warping a de-laming a bit. I decided to use the mech in my first gun build but the two blanks were different dimensions. While in Santa Cruz a few weeks ago I went to the neptonics shop and had josh put a new " finger release" in my mech. I think it was around $10 or so. It seemed pretty easy to remove and replace. Kind of like a pinned remote trigger.

I've taken apart Josh's mechs before... very simple/straightforward. You should call and have them send you a new trigger and just swap it out yourself. You'll need a punch (a screwdriver may also work) to get the pin out and back in.

Wow, you really "customized" that trigger.

I probably need to change my signature line to "Just call Josh."

Re: neptonics trigger repair

While you have it apart consider silencing it. Here is what I did to my mechanisms in my guns, makes them super quiet. Get a few nylon spacers/washers to take up some of the side to side play. Then get a 1/8" dia. rubber "O" ring and drill a 1/8" dia. hole in the top surface of the sear.

the easier way is to put a drop of silicone sealant over the same part of the sear, no drill need
