Striped bass in ct?
So I have legit question here. If I launch in ct and run to New York or Rhode Island and shoot a striped bass can I still pull in to ct?

Re: Striped bass in ct?
Directly from the DEEP marine fisheries regulations:
"Striped bass may only be taken by angling (spearing is prohibited) and the use of a gaff in the taking of striped bass is prohibited. However, striped bass legally taken by spearing in another state may be landed in Connecticut." Seems pretty cut and dried to me, although if you encountered a conservation officer, I'm not sure if they would take you at your word or not. |

Re: Striped bass in ct?
You’re ok just don’t fish in CT waters after spearing a striper in another state

What are NY's regs on spearing in general? I'm on the RI,CT,NY border.
