We just swam from the beach. I was concerned that we would have trouble with the kayaks if the wind picked up. It was a struggle just to drag the float back to shore when it did. Didn't bring Jason, the last kayak dive went so badly due to weather, I'm going to wait till a calm day before trying to get him on a kayak again.

I live down here, so I'll be around. Most likely I'll be dedicated to collecting more lobster before the season closes. Limited out yesterday after finding a good hole. Took me maybe 1.5 hours of digging to get them out. Need to practice my snaring more.

Always open to more dive buddies. Just have all your gear and know what to do. Don't want to be responsible for anyones safety.

Couldn't win every time. Got my first slipper though. Missed a hog at point blank range. Need to practice shooting the gun more.

What do you guys think of this for spearing down here? I go on a kayak but it has a hole in it and it's not going to be available to me anymore so it's either that or a foot powered tandem I think. It does seem to open up a lot of options for spearing.

Cold day of diving out there. Pulled out a couple, most of them were small. Trying to teach a buddy how to team up on a hole, but it's hard trying to un-train old habits.

First lobster dive of the season last Friday. Hundreds of them all over the reefs. It was a struggle just sorting through them all to find the legal ones.
