Cheapest quality slip tip would be these http://easpearguns.netfirms.com/. Anything cheaper and you take your chances.

Re: slip-tip question

how cheap is cheap?

Sometimes you gotta pony up the dough.

I agree the riffe ones are overpriced, mori and kitto make tips that are well worth the money.

JBL is coming out with a nice spectra one for about 88 bucks too this year....

I agree, Plamen makes a great slip-tip, never had a need to try another.

Re: slip-tip question

You'll get more than a 96$ value out of it too. It's not cheaper becuase it's inferior, it's just a good deal.

You pay for what you get IMO, it just takes one good fish to repay itself!

Re: slip-tip question

Although I like most everything Riffe does, the slip-tip is definitely not one of them. Much better choice is the Mori slip tip as accuracy with the Riffe slip-tip is very poor. I tested it in a pool after getting quite a few misses on King Mackerel and found out that the shape of the tip vectors the spear shaft all over the place. On the other hand the Mori slip-tip is even more accurate than a single flopper setup.
