I saw this every day in the Persian Gulf while on the Aircraft Carrier Independence, just prior to the first Gulf War (Desert Storm). Seriously...every day....many times a day...no joke!!! Big cows eating flying fish midair every day.....

you know that guy ben from spearfishing travel is down there right now I was gonna go on the trip but it was there first trip and i did not feel secure about the logistics and this being an el nino year that outfitter was at the fred hall show I priced his trip they cannot take divers anymore as they got in trouble with the government for shooting 200 plus lbers the cost is $4500 per person for 5 days of fishing they actually have this huge barge hotel that you stay at right on the tuna grounds 80 miles out from the mainland and go out on those 30 ft sportfishers for the day there are actually speros down there right now http://www.spearboard.com/showthread.php?t=104104 Ben from spearfishing travel.com and Ryan bombard from aqua azul charters in costa rica came down a few days before I was leaving and where getting ready for a trip offshore which was going to consist of camping on a island offshore near the Hannibal banks and pursuing big yellowfin tuna for a week..... I got a email yesterday from morro Negritos manager saying that they shot a bunch of tuna, two of which where over two hundred pounds. WOW! that is awesome. I like the 5 and 6 pictures from the bottom. It shows the rod bent over in 5 and a fishing line coming out of the YF's mouth coming back towards the boat in 6.
