23 July Spearfishing
Made a few dives before the closing of Snapper season. 1st dive was off Mexico beach. The visibility was the best ive ever seen it for our 1st dive, but by the time our second dive came around a current moved in on the bottom and made the vis go from 50-60 ft to 1 to 2 ft on the bottom 5 to 7 ft. Came up with some flounder, and gags. Then headed back to PCB dove a bridge span and came up with an AJ, and some snapper. Not a bad day for some inshore diving.

Yeah i got the 2nd snapper but i gave it to a buddy of mine that didn't get out with us. I'm sure his wife was stoked about it.

Always nice to make the friends....and thier WIVES happy...just make sure you do it with FISH...and nothing else!

njspearo- yep it's a lane snapper. It measured just under 17 in. And it tasted damn good today for lunch.

Glad to see someone make it out and kill a few. Our starboard engines water pump quit as soon as we hit blue water (14miles out) Friday so we didn't get to fish. Nice mess!
