force fins for freediving

Anyone ever try the force fins?

I tried a friends pair in a pool. I could really get some speed underwater without wearing my legs out.

I felt like they would be hard to use for freedive hunting for me. The fins seem to make me splash on the surface more because all of the power is on the down-stroke.

Very interesting design though.

I am looking for other divers input for using them in general and for use in freediving.

What's up with some of their prices?
