I live in Southern California and i'm thinking of putting a nice gun together thats around 45" and was wondering where to start and who to contact for parts and or blanks ect. Everything is appreciated Thanks

neptonicsystems.com for all the parts. For a blank there is a guy in florida (harrison I think (tue le poisson or somethin on spearboard) or in Huntington beach I believe Dean (West_Coast_X on spearboard) also makes blanks. Or make your own blank.

I'm guessing your in San Clemente? Austin Hardwoods is a decent place to get wood for it.

I'm the Florida blank guy. I do plain blanks as well as a lot of blanks with tracks (enclosed or open) and trigger pockets. If you need any help, be it a blank or just some advice and direction shoot me a pm or give me a call. (941) 376-1890

I was on my way out the door to go to my shop and I remembered that I have a 48" 3 laminate teak blank that I put together from some leftover wood, it still needs to be glued but could be finished and in the mail tomorrow. If I remember right its pretty stout, maybe 2"w x 1.75"t ? If your intested I'll give it to you for $100+shipping. I can also cut it down to any length, width, and height. Give me a call if you're interested.

If your only looking at building one gun I would buy a blank. Either myself or Harrison are happy to build you a blank. If your gonna do more then one gun. You can always build them yourself. Just remember to have lots of clamps and a straight jig or jointer/planner ready to straighten your wood out. Josh at Neptronics will take care of your needs for the hardware. My first build was a "kit" gun with a pre-laminated and squared-up blank.
The rest is pretty easy if you have some basic power tools and the know-how to use them.
