new jersey tuna regs

Does anybody know if it is legal to spear tuna in new jersey with a regular tuna permit? Or do you need a special spearing permit?

"If you have to ask you probablly don't know what your doing." What a wise assed answer from to be expected from a kid who thinks he was born, the son of Neptune. What, am l supposed to be born with the knowledge of the law? It was just a question dude. Next time be a big boy and give a thoughtful, helpful answer. That's what werehere to do right?

Odds are you would be going beyond the state terrotorial limits for tuna and you would need a federal permit. They are not expensive but I don't know if you could get one in time for it to help you this year. Check out this link for the info.
