anyone familiar with Spetton footpockets???
I was thinking about getting these for my C4 falcon's, but not sure how they compare to Captain nemos and Omer stingrays.

Very durable footpockets. I've used them for years. The Omer stingrays and Captain nemos are both softer than the spetton but it never bother me.

Spetton pockets are nice... If you have a tall foot though you may have a hard time with them though. The Nemos are also very nice and probably a better fitting pocket for most feet. I also am a big fan of the H. Dessault pockets for comfort
![]() ... Also the Stingray pockets don't have the same mounting kit as the C4s.... so you won't be able to use the pre-drilled holes on your blades. Just in case you didn't know!

What do you mean by "tall" foot Mahiman? I have been considering buying Spetton footpockets as well but had no idea on fit.

Re: anyone familiar with Spetton footpockets???
... Hmm basically meaning from the bottom sole portion to the top part between your toes and ankle right in the middle of the top of your foot. The Spettons have a very rigid area right there and can be rather uncomfortable to say the least.

Re: anyone familiar with Spetton footpockets???
From my understanding, they're exactly the same shape as the Riffe fins (probably the same manufacturer). They look the same, but I've never put my foot in both. I just know the Spetton one doesn't fit me at all. Fits a wide flat foot (imagine a duck's feet) not a skinny tall foot (like a proper human being).

11.5 EEE.
My buddy got me 46/48 Spettons. Too tight with socks, so sold them. Nice and firm though. Captain Nemo 46/48. Again too tight with 4mm socks, so gave away. Softer than Spetton, good feel in bare feet. Tight on the top of my foot. Over a hundred dollars wasted from not trying before buying. End up with the softer Picasso FP. Fits perfect with 4mm socks. |
